Scope and application boundaries
The GTI public website uses server access logs and one invisible first-party statistics beacon. It does not use cookies, local storage, advertising, third-party analytics, or browser fingerprinting.
The hosting provider records technical logs such as IP addresses, time, URL, request status, and User-Agent for security and service reliability. Raw logs are available only in cPanel and are retained for 90 days.
The first-party beacon stores aggregate counts, page paths, referrer hosts, language, device class, browser and operating-system families, plus a daily pseudonymous visitor ID in a maximum of 200 recent requests. The counter database does not store raw IP addresses or complete User-Agents; the daily ID is created with HMAC and the deduplication list resets every day.
Processing is based on legitimate interests in security, service reliability, visit counting, and understanding content use, with data and retention limits. Statistics appear only on a password-protected private page that is absent from navigation and search engines. GTI does not use this data for advertising or marketing profiles.
