Scope and application boundaries
Information for a quotation
Share the Jakarta location, facility type, priority areas, existing-system condition, recording needs and permitted work windows. Quantity, routes, working height, storage and supply boundaries affect the quotation. Exchange sensitive drawings only through an agreed channel. Final quantities, specifications and timing follow the survey and proposal.
Start with the areas that need coverage
An entrance, loading bay, corridor and perimeter need different views. The survey considers the image required, day and night conditions, mounting position and access for maintenance. Camera quantity should follow these objectives and site constraints, not floor area alone.
Installation and integration scope
Scope can include camera and cable layouts, cameras, data or fiber links, PoE switches, NVR, storage, displays and user configuration. Existing-network interfaces are reviewed before changes. Remote viewing requires coordination with the customer's IT owner and an agreed access method.
Testing and handover
Agree the test list before handover: each camera view, recording and playback, system time, user access and relevant functions. Deliverables can include the device schedule, point layout, cable labels and configuration records through an agreed project channel. Recording retention is calculated from the approved requirements and usable capacity.
Existing systems and maintenance
Existing cameras and recorders can be assessed for reuse. Model, software, condition and required functions must be compatible; a shared brand alone is insufficient. Recurring faults can be addressed under a separate maintenance scope after diagnosis.
Questions before requesting service
What affects CCTV installation cost per camera point?
Cost depends on camera specification, cable length and route, mounting height, PoE, NVR, recording capacity and testing. Compare installation-only work with equipment supply and installation on the same basis. Shared recorders and storage are not automatically included at each point; taxes and additional work are stated in the proposal.
Can GTI supply and install CCTV, or install customer-owned equipment?
Equipment supply, installation and integration can form an agreed project scope. Customer-owned cameras and recorders require checks of model, condition, licenses and compatibility. No particular brand or complete reuse of existing equipment is guaranteed before assessment.
What should I report when CCTV goes offline or stops recording?
Describe the symptoms, timing, affected cameras and recent changes. Diagnosis distinguishes power, network, recorder, storage and camera faults. CCTV repair or scheduled servicing can be discussed through the maintenance service; repair work, spare parts and response arrangements follow assessment.
Can CCTV drawings and BOQs be discussed directly in Mandarin?
Yes. PT GLOBAL TEHNOLOGI INDONESIA (GTI) can arrange Mandarin-speaking staff to discuss CCTV requirements, drawing versions, BOQs, supply and installation boundaries, and technical proposals directly. On-site Mandarin staffing, timing and implementation arrangements are confirmed per project.
Where can GTI arrange CCTV site services outside Jakarta?
Regular on-site service covers Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cikarang and Karawang. ELV projects can cover Indonesia; site access, timing, staff mobilization and logistics elsewhere are confirmed per project. National project coverage does not mean a permanent team or uniform response time in every region.
