Business WiFi is not a home broadband package
This service covers the network within an office, factory or warehouse: LAN cabling, switches, access points, configuration and testing. An ISP internet circuit is a separate service. Internet capacity and wireless performance need separate checks so that an access problem is not mistaken for a broadband issue.
Survey coverage and capacity
Provide floor plans, busy user areas, important applications and device types. Walls, metal racks, height, interference and movement routes affect the design. AP locations, channels and power requirements follow planning and site validation, not a promise that one AP covers an entire floor.
- Weak signal in specific areas: check AP placement, obstructions and coverage.
- Slow connections at busy times: check active devices, channel use and uplink capacity.
- Disconnections while moving: check transition areas, roaming configuration and client devices.
Installation and configuration
Scope can include data outlets, patch panels, rack organization, PoE switches, APs and staff, guest or device access separation under the customer's IT policy. Coordinate VLANs, DHCP, uplinks and management with the network owner. Identify licenses and carrier services separately where needed.
Handover checks
Test agreed areas and representative devices for connectivity, application access, roaming where required and relevant load conditions. Point schedules, labels, topology, configuration records and test results support later operation. Actual performance depends on client devices, the environment, uplinks and applications.

For a new or operating Jakarta office, share floors, priority areas, estimated concurrent users, existing equipment and site access. Work on a live network needs an agreed change window and recovery plan. The survey determines point counts and supply and installation boundaries.
Questions before requesting service
What belongs in a per-point LAN cabling quotation?
Define cable length and category, route, outlet, patch panel, termination, labels and testing level. Cable pulling alone differs from a completed outlet with materials. Switches, racks, access points, civil work and taxes need explicit treatment rather than being assumed included.
Does office WiFi installation include an internet subscription?
Not automatically. This service covers the internal network, access point installation, configuration and testing; the ISP contract is separate. WiFi requirements depend on coverage, active devices, applications and radio conditions, not subscribed internet bandwidth alone.
Can an operating office network be expanded or reorganized?
The work can be assessed against topology, ports, PoE capacity, existing UTP/Cat6 cabling and equipment. VLAN, route and configuration changes require the IT owner’s approval, a work window and a recovery plan. Coverage and capacity are checked using agreed tests.
Can enterprise WiFi and LAN projects be discussed in Mandarin?
Yes. PT GLOBAL TEHNOLOGI INDONESIA (GTI) can arrange Mandarin-speaking staff to discuss office, factory or warehouse network requirements, layouts, BOQs, equipment interfaces, and supply and installation boundaries directly. On-site Mandarin staffing is confirmed per project. AP quantities, coverage, capacity and test criteria still require site-specific surveys and design.
Where can GTI arrange enterprise-network site services?
Regular on-site service covers Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cikarang and Karawang. ELV projects can cover Indonesia; site access, timing, staff mobilization and logistics elsewhere are confirmed per project. This does not imply a permanent team or the same response time in every region.
